Valdina is a woman who enjoys helping people and immersing herself into new cultures. She is currently in her last year of her International Affairs degree at the University of Georgia. She has worked with the International Rescue Committee to aid refugees in transitioning to life and employment in the United States, as well as the Fulton County Solicitor General’s office to find restorative justice measures for the local community. Valdina has also been an ambassador for the School of Public and International Affairs as well as the Historian and Cultural Secretary for the African Student Union. She is passionate about helping those who may not have proper resources improve their situations and ameliorate their lives. In her spare time, Valdina loves to try new restaurants and explore scents for her perfume collection.
